Mandatory Requirements

  • Previous Baker Hughes experience is mandatory (Ex-Baker candidates only).
  • Successful completion of Baker School is mandatory.
  • Proven experience as a Directional Driller (DD).
  • Strong knowledge of directional drilling techniques, BHA design, and drilling optimization.
  • Excellent understanding of drilling operations, safety standards, and well planning.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
  • Execute directional drilling operations safely and efficiently in accordance with Baker Hughes standards and client requirements.
  • Plan, monitor, and optimize well trajectories to achieve drilling objectives.
  • Operate and monitor directional drilling tools and equipment.
  • Analyze real-time drilling data and recommend corrective actions to improve drilling performance.
  • Prepare daily drilling reports and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Coordinate with the Drilling Supervisor, MWD/LWD Engineers, and rig personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot downhole and drilling-related issues while minimizing non-productive time (NPT).
  • Participate in pre-job planning, risk assessments, and post-job reviews.
